Denmark trip part 1

July 7th, 2009

We’re back after a very nice painting trip to Denmark. We did some pieces overthere and we’re also guest at the famous Roskilde festival. First of all we would like to thank all the nice people we met. Especially Does en Chas (vuisje ouwe) from the Loveletters crew, we had some fun with you guys… Also a bigup to Tiws, thanks for everything, we really appreciated it! Furthermore bigup to Bates, Swet, Sirum, Storm, Zombie, Soten, Kacao77, Drik, Vision and everyone we forgot.Time was really too short to talk with everyone at the festival…. (picture above by Molotow).

Here are some pictures we took at our trip….

We went by car from our hometown. It’s an 8 hour drive, so we had to take some breaks just to stretch our legs and that gave us the oppurtunity to leave behind some marks/stickers.

We arrived in Copenhagen around 16.00 h. so we felt like doing our first piece at the harbour. We decided to do big silvers with a character inbetween.

We finished the wall and did also put the danish translation of our crew (thanks bates) next to it:

Next day we had planned to do a wall with Bates. Since he is very busy, time was limited and we had to start very early. We did make a little conceptwall called “Striking like a viking”.

We finished the viking wall and our next stop was Roskilde. What a great place to visit. Lots of nice people and crazy wallspace to paint. Next day we started with a concept wall called “skills n skulls”…

that’s it for now… story will be continued in part 2 soon…

As said before we did another wall at a secret spot in our hometown. Check the endresult here

Fresh out the box

June 4th, 2009

Another little productionwall at the centre of our hometown.
This time we made a snake charmer character, but instead of a snake coming out of the basket, our names do float out of the basket. So next time if you see us, start playing the snake flute and maybe we start dancing ;-) . Click here to see the whole wall

Pinokkio… stop lying…

May 28th, 2009

This wall wasn’t intended to become a productionwall at all.

Mega did put his piece on the wall two weeks before Romeo did (the piece was intended to be letters only with a simple background). We decided that there should be a character inbetween the pieces and came up with a Pinokkio (stop lying) theme…

We’re quite happy with the endresult although the wall could be balanced a little bit better….

Secret spot part 1

May 22nd, 2009

We found a nice secret spot in our hometown with wooden panels and decided that it needed some decoration, so we did a few pieces overthere. Check the endresult here

Never stop sketching!

May 13th, 2009

We recently did another concept wall in Leeuwarden city. This time we made a wall with a sketchbook look and added some items on top of it to make it look more realisticly and give it more depth. We didn’t need to fill in the letters so that saved a lot of time. Check the endresult here

This easter we made a production in our home town. We decided it was time to represent our crew with another crewpiece instead of our own “nom de plums”… The weather was perfect and we are happy with the result. You can check the endresult here

That’s not all folks!

March 18th, 2009

We did rock another wall with the OD crew and some guys from Germany. The weatherman promised a nice day but it turned out to be very rainy… anyway we are happy with the result.

Chrome sweet chrome

March 7th, 2009

Sometimes we have the urge to rock some large silver pieces. It’s really fun to do and this one was also a good opportunity to get rid of some leftovers in the background… This one was just a warming up for the upcoming season… The whole wall can be found here

Tony Montana graffiti

February 16th, 2009

Still bad weather in Holland, lots of rain and snow… so we had to find some inside spots.
This idea was allready on the shelf for a while, but finally we pulled it off.
The idea was based on the movieposter of one of our favourite movies called “scarface”.
Montana is also the brand of the spraycans we use a lot, so we combined it with their logo.
It came out nice and we are satisfied with the result.
